ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Small CBOs often struggle with organizational challenges that larger CBOs do not. The COVID-19 pandemic has amplified and created unprecedented organizational disruptions in our communities. To address this urgent situation, the Nonprofit Impact Team is offering FREE, SHORT-TERM, TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE to community-based organizations who need help addressing organizational challenges resulting from COVID-19. To be eligible to receive this free assistance, your organization must be located in Los Angeles County and serve youth and/or families who have been either been:
-
Involved in the juvenile justice system;
-
At-risk of being involved in the juvenile justice system; or
-
Impacted by violence and trauma.
The Nonprofit Impact Team is composed of capacity-building specialists who can help you address issues in the areas of: Fund Development & Grant Writing; Marketing & Communications; Organizational & Operational Development; and Data & Evaluation.
Organizations, who meet the criteria outlined above, can apply by completing the Request for Assistance form (click on the button on this page). Each request will be reviewed by the Nonprofit Impact Team and you will be contacted within 48 hours. To assist as many organizations as possible, we ask that you submit only one request form per organization.
The Nonprofit Impact Team is a program of the Trauma Prevention Initiative of The Office of Violence Prevention, Los Angeles County Department of Public Health.
